Roberta, babysitting - 95100 Catania

Hi!
First of all… let me introduce myself! My name is Roberta, I’m 23 years old, I am Italian. Of course, my native language is Italian but I am also fluent in English, French and I learned Spanish with my lovely au pair family in Palma de Mallorca. Last year I passed the IELTS certification (B2 level) and I also have got the French certificate DELF B2. I am graduated in Languages and Modern Cultures at the university,
During this summer I worked as au pair in Palma de Mallorca, it was a superb opportunity to discover a new culture and I really enjoyed myself looking after children. Speaking of them…What about yours? What are their hobbies and interests? You know, I’m curious! As well as I would like to know something more about your family and where you live.
By the way, I can say I am very resilient thanks to my family that is mainly composed by women. We are five in total and I am the last one of three daughters, so we are 4 women and… my « sainted » father! Can you imagine what happen when we have to decide something together? You can bet that it is not that easy, above all to my father. Despite of the endless arguments we are a very close-knit and harmonious family.
In addition, I really do like spending time playing with children and taking care of them like they were my little brothers/sisters. For this reason, I essentially see myself like an elder sister who can enthusiastically teach lots of things to children. Besides, I could entertain your child by doing my favourite activities, such as cooking, swimming, dancing, cycling, doing exercises, playing volleyball, walking, taking pictures, playing cards, watching TV, listening to music, singing and others.
Consequently, every time I meet a child there finally is a sort of connection between us that no matter what we do, we have fun with it. Probably, on the one hand it is due to the fact I am a pretty good listener and I try to catch what every kid likes to do and that always leaves a mark on everyone; on the other hand children always appreciate I am very compliant and flexible and I usually go along with anything.
I know this is a truly challenging job and you need someone dynamic to fill it. So, here I am! I am energetic, creative, fun, honest, caring, reliable, kind, understanding and… last but not least: patient and flexible.
Moreover, I think being suitable for this job because I am pretty good at using my initiative, sorting out problems and dealing with people. Furthermore, I am really keen on cooking, I am very good with my hands and I also have the ability of multi-task. I have driver’s license, too.
