Rossana, babysitting a domicilio a Milano

I am a 28 year old qualified Nursery Nurse with ten years of childcare experience. I was born and raised in England but have dual British – Italian citizenship as my father is Italian. I moved to Milan last year (January 2018) with my English husband, as he was headhunted for a job in the city.

I am a native English speaker with basic to intermediate Italian language skills. I am continuing to self-teach in a bid to become fluent.

I have previous experience living and working in Italy as I was an Au Pair for an Italian family near to Verona for just over a year in 2009. As well as working as an au pair I have also had various other childcare roles: in a nursery, as a nanny and as a nurse’s assistant in a children’s hospital. I have cared for children of all ages and varying abilities including those with special needs.

I chose childcare as my profession as I’ve always had a strong affinity with children and enjoy being of use to them and their families. One of my favourite things is capturing children’s imaginations as I utilise fun ways to teach them new things about themselves and the world they live in. I consider it a privilege when families welcome me into their home and their lives.
