I'm looking for a friendly, bilingual (Italian/English) university student or homework helper to work with my two boys, ages 10 and 12, after school.
We're an American family living in central Florence (San Frediano). The boys attend an international school and are learning Italian. We are struggling with Italian and I am struggling to keep up with the homework demand of both children. I need help! We're looking for someone who can come to our home Three to four afternoons per week for approximately 1.5–2 hours each afternoon. Starting times during the week: Mondays 17:30, Tuesdays 16:45, Wednesdays 17:30, Thursdays 16:45. The main responsibilities would be helping them with general homework and helping them practice and improve their Italian. You don't need to be a qualified teacher! We're mainly looking for someone patient, reliable, outgoing, and comfortable with children of their ages.
We would also be interested in a sitter for special occasions.
