This is my reference letter for Bethel Getiye. I have used Bethel as a babysitter for the past few months. Bethel has consistently exceeded my expectations in terms of her work ethic and interpersonal skills. When I was initially interviewing for babysitters, I spoke with ten different people. Bethel stood out from the rest in terms of ability to communicate and professionalism, even during our first meeting. She quickly adjusted to the specific rules and schedules of our household. After babysitting for us for a few weeks, I even gave Bethel a copy of the key to our house and she began to pick up my children from school and watch them until I got home from work. This saved me a significant amount of money compared to using an after-school program and also provided them with more one-on-one support. Bethel never fails to impress me with her can-do attitude and extensive knowledge. I can think of several specific examples of times when Bethel really came through and saved the day. Bethel was our babysitter for several times until she had to move because of her studies. My children were quite upset when their favourite babysitter had to move. But I also wanted to do her the courtesy of making sure that other families can take advantage of her good work too. Not only is Bethel great with kids but she is also responsible and able to stay calm even under stressful situations. Bethel will follow your instructions exactly and is very smart about dealing with unexpected events. I always appreciated how great Bethel was at keeping our kids calm.
