I am Psychological Counselor Gözde Açıker, I was born and grew up in Izmir/Turkey in 1996.

I graduated from the Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department in 2018. After graduation, I started the master's degree program without interrupting my education. I finished the Family Counseling Master's Degree program. Also, I completed the part of my master's degree at the University of L'Aquila (L' Aquila/Italy). I was accepted to the European Solidarity Corps-ESC Program in 2020. I was an international volunteer at Uliveto rehabilitation center in Italy (Turin/Italy). As part of the volunteer program, I worked full-time at the Uliveto Rehabilitation Center for one year. Finally, I am currently doing my second master's degree in Clinical, Social, and Intercultural Psychology at the University of Padova (Padua/Italy).

In addition to all these academic studies, teaching English to children between the ages of 3-7 and caring for them has always been the happiest thing I have been working on. Thanks to my pedagogical education, I work with activities (with activities such as painting, reading books, theater with emotion cards) that will support both the psychomotor development of children and their self-expression.

As an international student, working with a family and children in Italian culture, being a part of families is an invaluable experience for me. Therefore, I will be looking forward to meeting you!
