Dear Host Family,

I am Laryssa, 26 years old, Italo-Brazilian. I speak Portuguese, English, Spanish a little bit of French and trying to learn Italian.

I love meeting new people, languages, cultures and to travel the world.

My trajectory with kids started 10 years ago when I worked in a theater that did plays for children. In 2019 I decided to be an Au Pair in the USA, in my first year I stayed with a family in McLean, VA, with 3 boys who were 3, 6 and 8. In my second year I went to San Francisco, CA to take care of a 7 year old boy and an 11 year old girl, we really liked each other and I stayed for 1 more year with them, meaning 2 years with the same family and 3 years in total. During 2022 I also worked with several kids from different families, since 9month old babies until 12 year old kids.

I am very responsible, reliable, fun and energetic. I love using my imagination and creativity, do different games and make sure that the kids are having fun.

I love working with kids because they are themselves, they are good, they don't care where are you from, they don't judge your for you accent, they talk what they want and what they feel. They want to be with you, your attention, they want to be listened, they want you to be there for them. I feel that I can be myself and get into their world, it is magical!

It will be a great opportunity for me to work with what I love and explore the world a little bit more!

I am vaccinated and boosted.

I have great references from my past works. I was nominated the Au Pair of the year for both families who I worked with.
