Chiara, giovane ragazza alla pari a San benedetto del tronto

Dear host family,

my name is Chiara Linda and I'm a 22 years old girl from Italy.
I live in San Benedetto del Tronto and I took my diploma in 2015, after attending school in a little town close to my city, Grottammare.
I was born in Milan but we had to move to San Benedetto because my sister suffers from asthma and my parents decided to move the whole family here to stay close to the sea. My family is composed by my father, Giuseppe, my mother, who is Argentinean and her name is Norma Beatriz, my brother and my sister. My mother used to be a nurse but at the moment she doesn’t work; my brother's name is Francesco, 19 years old, studying Art, my sister's is in the middle school and is 15 years old so I’m the eldest one.

I have many friends but five of them are my closest friends: Azzurra, Milena, Valeria, Marija and Federica. My friends and I often see each other outside of school and like doing things such as going to the Movies, to the beach, having shopping and do sleepovers at Valeria's home and eating pizza to Milena's grandmother.

I love reading, spending time with my friends and travel. I love travel so much and I would like to travel all over the world. I also love music and going to see live performance which is the best thing for me. I like playing piano and singing, although I never took any lessons. One of my favorite things to do is dance.
I love pets and I have a dog named Pesca and a cat so similar to Garfield, called Haimitto meaning Pierino.

Now my childcare experiences. I have always loved children and looked after them. I started doing babysitting when I was 12 years old when my little sister started kindergarten. I used to help my Mom looking after her. I changed her diapers, bathed her, dressed her, prepared her bottles and put her down for naps. Even when my brother was born I was helping my mother and my father with him. I used to play with him and I we had togheter a lot of fun. I taught my brothers to bike and going rollerskating. I loved to help them doing homeworks, expecially I loved helping studying famous poems. My sister is dyslexic and needs someone to help her with the school duties, in fact, I helped to study the poems and doing vocal exercises. Now that they are older, we enjoy swimming togheter, drawing, shopping, reading and going for a walk. I am also responsible on preparing some snacks or meals.
During high school I had the chance to gain my experience in baby sitting and I worked for three summers as animator.
I am dynamic, committed and serious and I adapt easily to different personalities of children. With them I love to go to the park, go to the swimming pool, go to the library, cooking, play outside, play sports, read books, draw/color, do crafts, play games, do puzzles.
From June 2014 to May 2017 I took care of two little kids, Alissa 5 years old and Liam 1 1/2 year old.
Alissa is a dinamics girl, she likes comb and play with my long hair. Liam is a little boy, so among my duties were changing his nappieshis nappy, put him down for a nap and speak to him. We also played a lot together as he was very playful child!

Now I work in a sandwich shop in San Benedetto del Tronto, very close to the beach of my city. I enjoy this because I like dealing with turists and people who come to the city to relax and eat good food.

I would like to be an au pair because I think you can learn the culture of a country only if you are living inside of it, in a family, and get to know the everyday life. Also I like to work with kids and would like to meet new people and make friends all over the world so this experience is the best for me!

I'm actually an aupair in America in new jersey and i will finish my year here in december.
