Hello! My name is Katie, and I’m a dedicated and experienced childcare professional with over five years of experience working as an Early Years Teacher in Scotland and Milan. Alongside my teaching background, I’ve also had the pleasure of working as a part time nanny in Scotland and as an au pair in Sardinia, where I cared for two lovely girls, aged 2 and 4.

I am passionate about fostering a nurturing, fun, and educational environment for children. My experience spans a variety of settings, from classrooms to private homes, which has given me a well-rounded approach to childcare. I believe in creating a safe and supportive space where children can grow, learn, and explore the world around them.

With a background in early childhood education, I offer understanding of play-based learning and I love reading stories to children in English as well as using creativity to learn through arts and crafts. I’m also Scottish so I am a mother tongue English speaker, and I have been working on B1 level Italian through lessons with the Italian Comune.
