I follow somatic experiencing approaches (Peter Lavigne) to any 'traumas' eg, the importance of allowing children to cry, to release and complete the experience. I also follow Naomi Aldhorts 'the child as a guest' approach.

I encourage sign language use in pre verbal children, and early potty use.
