Cooray, babysitting a Cormano

Hello! My name is , and I am a 26-year-old, English speaking Master’s student in Environmental Science at the University of Milan, originally from Sri Lanka. I would describe myself as fun, calm, kind, patient, and responsible, someone children naturally feel safe and comfortable around. Being with kids genuinely makes me happy. Their smiles, laughter, curiosity, and small everyday moments are incredibly special to me, and I find great joy in being part of their world.

While I do need a job to support myself and pay my bills during my studies, I chose babysitting specifically because I truly love spending time with children. It never feels like “just a job” to me, it feels meaningful and rewarding.

I have hands-on experience caring for children from newborns to 6-year-olds. I’ve babysat for my cousins and children in my neighborhood, and I’ve also volunteered at a nature-based play area in Sri Lanka, as well as briefly working with differently - abled children.
