I grew up as the middle child in an average Portuguese family at the end of the millennium. All my life I have lived with my father, younger brother, grandparents, uncles, and cousins, as well as with the regular presence of other relatives.
About four years ago I went to Southern Italy for half a year to study under the framework of the Erasmus programme, an experience which broadened, even more, my understanding of the world. Being born and based in this outstanding, multicultural city is a major advantage for someone in my generation, as it showed me how to be compassionate and open towards diversity. My education comprised 12 years of compulsory public instruction, to which followed a 3-year bachelor degree in Classical Studies and then a master degree in Classics, always in Lisbon. I've taught Portuguese literature in private and public schools, as well as tutored children aged 6-18 in the humanities. Currently I'm preparing for a PhD degree.
