Hi,
I am Charie, a Business Analyst (IT) by profession but I decided to get out of the corporate world to explore Europe on my nth time. With less than one year of experience as Au Pair. I'm currently residing in Italy.
I have dual citizenship - Filipino/New Zealander. I have been traveling around the world but Europe is where my heart is. In fact I've been to twenty-six (26) countries. And I used to live in Madrid (Spain), Paris (France), Germany (Aachen), Italy and the United Kingdom.
I love "Overseas Experience" (OE) because it gives me the freedom to travel, work and explore the world. A great opportunity as well to learn different cultures.

It's something that I am passionate about not only just the duties and responsibilities. I always have that kind of childlike attitude that makes me closer to the children. But I love children ever since. Plus, I want to learn different languages and cultures. And I believe that the best way to learn this is through immersion.
I experienced being a Nanny for my niece in Paris and my nephew in Belgium. I had a nice time with them and one thing I like most is that they're able to follow me even at a very young age of two (2) / three (3). For me, it is very important to discipline the children while still young. In this way, they will be able to behave properly especially when they get old.
While on holiday, I also had experience taking care of a two year old cute Italian baby in Rome. It was one of my heartwarming experiences. I love taking care of him. We both had a nice time. The most important thing is that I was treated as part of the family. It gave me the opportunity to become a childlike in so many ways and be able to understand a child.
Reasons for becoming an Au Pair:
1. Love for children/Interest in children: I always love children. I love playing with them and make them happy. People say I look young for my age and that's primarily because I have a cheerful heart. For this reason, all the more children get closer to me.
2. Patience: I am a very patient person especially to the children. I make it a point to understand their behavior. I am willing to help your children learn English and other valuable things.
3. Interest in a family: Being a family-oriented person, I know how it feels to be part of a family. I always care and help as much as I can. A family that values "respect" which I believe that every person must have. I have become even more respectful in New Zealand. And being exposed to different nationalities, I have learned and respected our differences.
4. Maturity: I am mature enough to do my duties and responsibilities. It's evident being successful in my chosen field.
