Good morning! My name is Ada and I will be happy to take care of your Child! I am a 5th year psychology student in the course of pedagogy, which includes preparation for the profession both substantively and practically.
I am from Poland but I am currently an exchange student in Rome, where I will stay until the end of September. I speak Polish, English and started to learn Italian a year ago.
I have two years of experience caring for four children (for three families) in Poland. I have managed to go through the developmental stages with two of them from one to three years of age, and with another two from 3 to 5 years of age, so that this experience of mine together beautifully adds up to the stage of a child's life falling between one and five years of age.
I consider myself a patient, creative and empathetic person. I have always known that I want to interact with children on a daily basis. I find them to be inspiring and interesting people, who have proven to me more than once that it is worth keeping that childishness for longer.
I am an advocate of parenting in the spirit of NVC nonviolent agreement. This is because I give them curiosity and respectfully listen to their needs. For as long as I can remember, I have surrounded myself with children. This has always happened very spontaneously and intuitively - I love spending time with them and translating their energy and curiosity about the world into action. I think they also like me :) I love to observe their keen interest in an activity, I get a lot of satisfaction from this view, and I enjoy the fact that it fosters their development. I am open to work with the child according to the parents' indications, I will gladly take into account what they expect from our time together - from learning to fun.
I also have experience working with children at camps/camps in Poland and abroad. My biggest challenge was a trip to the United States as a camp staff for 3 months, where I had to demonstrate patience and commitment in combining command of a foreign language with the right approach to children and responsible care. I wouldn't trade this experience for any other - as it taught me ways to make children interested in a given activity while enforcing previously established boundaries.
Many times I was a volunteer in the Odyssey of the Mind program, where during regional and national competitions I helped young participants climb to the heights of creativity and creatively solve a problem "thrown" to us spontaneously.
In addition to skills closely related to working with children, privately I also engage in many initiatives.
I devote my free time to sports (I'm preparing for my first marathon), sailing (every year we go with friends to the beautiful Masurian lakes), singing and theater (I perform hobbyistically on the boards of the theater and casually in front of cameras, we go to song competitions or reviews of theater initiatives).
