Elena, babysitter a Bologna

Hello! My name is Elena. I am a professional illustrator from New York who moved to Bologna to learn more about the illustration industry in Italy. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old, but my most recent babysitting experience was nannying two little girls full-time in the United States. In our years together (starting when they were 1 and 5), I incorporated languages, music, art, and stories into our daily activities.

While illustrating takes up most of my time now and so I am only looking for part-time or occasional babysitting, I have realized that working with children is something that I come back to. Teaching children has always felt natural and inspiring. Each child I have babysat has been a gift to meet and spend time with. Since I know that happy and peaceful parents also make happy children, I am also open to cooking, cleaning, or discussing tasks that can be useful around the house.

I am grateful for any conversations that will help me create an environment where your child can learn, and find joy and comfort. I take doing things the way you as parents prefer seriously. My aim is to encourage a space for curiosity, humor, and growth in everything we do whether it's art projects, homework, or chatting while walking home from school.
