Silvia, assistente familiare a Saronno

My name is Silvia and I was born in Milan – Italy 40 years ago.
I am a graduate of Private Catholic University Of Milan where I studied Social Science and Psychology. I am a trained Social Worker and Psychologist and, after my degree, I have worked for a while with the Juvenile Court in Milan, specifically with children and families.
In 2005, I had the great opportunity to start to travel.
Actually, I am the only beloved daughter of my dad that, from when I was only 16 years old, had encouraged me to explore the world through study holidays abroad and amazing experiences like sailing travels with others teen agers and teachers.
It was not a surprise for my dad then when I have got the decision to go to live in the Middle East!
I have spent 10 extraordinary years between Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Manama.
I had the opportunity to know thousands people from all over the world, to know different cultures, to open my mind at 360° and to learn to love any human being and any creature of the heart, trying to get the best from everybody.
In that period, I have started my “journey” into the Nanny experience!
At the beginning, it was just to help friends but straight away I have understood that it was definitely what I like to do.
I have never stop to study and to improve myself and, as well after University, I continued to go deep into Montessori Method that is what I like to follow with the children I look after.
I aim to be kind to everyone and to act fairly and with respect.
I am patient but do not let them get away with not studying or nor respect the rules!
I am extremely polite and adaptable and have been brought up to put others first.
I like animals, cinema, music, reading and learning about new cultures.
I love languages and in addition to being completely fluent in English, I have an intermediate level of French.
I am quite sporty and love tennis, swimming and horse riding.
I like going to museums and art galleries but most of all I like to stay much as possible outdoor with children and discover with them the magic of the nature.
I hope this gives a little picture of who I am!
