Krystyna, assistente familiare a Piacenza

I am Krystyna, originally from Ukraine, but have been internationally brought up and spent 8 years in Netherlands, 3 years in Spain, and 11 in England.

In 2021, I had the opportunity to work 2 years at an international boarding school in Italy, where children's ages range from 6-11years old. My role was both classroom teacher and dorm auntie, caring and looking after the children as they lived at the school 9months of the year.

I was part of an exquisite team, organised lessons, activities and provided emotional support and protection.

Working with children is a true calling as they teach me so much through their sense of curiousity and joy for the world. It is this quality that we, as caregivers, have the responsibility of nurturing so that they continue to learn through play and spontaneity and eventually grow into openhearted people.

A day with me would have a structure based on the needs of the parents and child, guided by the possibilities of open out/indoor activities that stimulate creativity and learning. I'm also happy to cook if necessary.

It would be a pleasure to build a genuine bond with the host family and perhaps to speak in one of the languages that's in the bank so far!
