Please accept this as an expression of my interest in the Nanny position. I am highly motivated and qualified graduate in education, holding a Bachelor in basic education, with a major in in humanities-English, with a long-standing background with more than 6 years of experience as a caregiver, I am a very passionate nanny, what I believe make me a perfect fit for the position.
I graduated from high school in 2012. during high school I was part of a conversation club, where I learnt English and felt in love with the language. That is why, I decided to study to become an English teacher. After that, I studied at the university of Cordoba.
In my previous position I was an au pair in the Netherlands for one year. I was an au pair of very sweet and lovable child, who is 3 years old. During my first 6 months in the Netherlands, I took care of 2 boys who were 1 and 3 years old. Who are smart and sweet boys, I enjoyed every single minute that I had the opportunity to be with them, they taught a lot.
I was also an au pair/nanny/housekeeper in the United States from October 2017 to June 2019, this has been some of the most wonderful time in my life, I learnt a lot about the American culture, the kids were lovely, and the parents were amazing people patient, amorous and very nice with me, I do have a very affectionate relationship with them nowadays. In my first year I took care of 3 beautiful and smart kids. The first one was a three-month-old baby girl, with whom I had to spend 10 hours every day, I was fully responsible for her during this time. The second one was a 2-year-old boy, and the third one a 6-year-old girl. I had to get the kids ready to go to school every morning. When they were back in the afternoon, I gave them lunch, put them down for naps. We usually did handicrafts, sang some or took the kids to the park during the afternoon. I used to speak in Spanish with the six years old girl, nowadays she is fluent in this language, and I am very proud of have been part of that stage in her life. I also taught the kids to be organized, we used to clean the pay room together. I also cooked and did the laundry for the kids. My second family was also great, the kids were older, a 5-year-old boy, an 11-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy. I used to get them ready and drive them to school every morning. While the kids were at school, I made their beds and laundry. In the afternoon I picked them up from school and drove them and their friends to different activities. After that I cooked dinner. The parents were very respectful and nice people, always worried about making me feel comfortable with them
I was also a volunteer in a day care center for several years, this time gave me most of my experience with kids, because in the day care we did many fun activities with the kids, we also gave fed them, gave them baths, celebrated holidays, we did crafts, sang songs, taught them vowels, number and more, we also played a lot with the kids, this was one of the most meaningful time in my life, fill we love a wonderful memories.
I really enjoy my time as an au pair/Nanny/housekeeper, this experience made me realize how much I have growth in this field, having a positive impact in their lives make my life so bright and meaningful.
