I am a third year student at the University of Nottingham studying Contemporary Chinese Studies with International Relations. In my free time, i am a salsa dancer in my university team as well as a performance team in Nottingham. I have also recently joined my university latin and ballroom team
Since I was little, I always had the possibility to learn new languages and engage in different sports, like horse riding, swimming, ice skating, skiing and dancing. I always work hard and do my best to achieve my goals and succeed in whatever I am doing. I started swimming when I was very little and competed at different levels at a very young age. Moreover, when I moved to Nottingham in October, I joined the Latin, Ballroom and Salsa team, where I became an active member, competed in competitions including Nationals in Blackpool and medalled several times. In January, I also became team captain. Ever since I have been leading the team successfully to several competitions. This has not only taught me how to be a leader but also how to compromise, lead the team whilst making sure everyone is happy.
I am a committed, self-motivated, hardworking and determined individual. I have demonstrated organising skills, a sense of responsibility and my ability to work hard and well under pressure. As proven by my varied range of summer jobs, I am able to relate to a range of different people and adapt successfully to the environment I am in.
